Whoops. I totally was flaked out last week… I’ve been spending too much time getting ready for spx and not enough time making comics. Sorry everyone! I will try for a double dose of SV this week. And next week, I might have a post, I might not.. It depends, since I’ll be in California for my brother wedding! (I live in Maryland, so… I won’t be with my computer for a week…)

Also, I got hired by Apple! I don’t know when I will start, but I at least have a job in the can. I can start making money! :)

Also, in other news, I will be competing in Super Art Fight this Saturday night at the Ottobar in Baltimore, MD. The event starts at 9pm and goes late into the night. I will be in the first 30 minute bout against Michael S. Bracco, also known as Spaghetti Kiss. Later bouts will include Angry Zen Master, AKA Jami Noguchi versus Ghostfreehood, AKA Nick Borkowicz for a whole hour. Inbetween my bout and theirs will be Chris Impink versus Garth Graham for 30 minutes.

SO this Saturday, the 20th, at 9pm, be there to support the fighters and me! And don’t forget to give me your opinion about the appearance of the comic!

Recently I started a new job. I gave it some time to simmer… and I pretty much detest it. So I put in my two weeks notice and that’s that. Now don’t worry, I am in a much better position to be without a job now… But I really don’t have that much money, so I sort of do need a job. I do have an interview coming up on Friday! I will see how that turns out.

But this whole summer has been one crazy ride for me. I got laid off, I changed SV’s format (and might update older pages to match this current format… so if I ever print these, I have one format throughout!), I moved out of my rad studio apartment… to move back in with my folks. But that’s not awful. They don’t bother or nag me. I started this crappy job, too! But it’s nearly over.

I think to have made my summer one more step of crazy would have been to get a dog… or something… CRAZY!

Anyway, I just wanted to thank you guys for coming back and enjoying each new update of Sudden Valley. The story is not nearly over yet. So until another time when I feel like rambling…
