Plus she’s my exgirlfriend

… where the hell am i going with this?

wow

June 13th, 2008

Can anybody say you better be careful what you wish for? Because I didn’t know I was due up for a wish to come true. I was just laid off. I guess that’s the way to put it. After nearly 3 years of service to this job… I was relieved of my duties as a graphic designer at this arts craft wholesale trade show company.

Now, I certainly am fine with this in the basic sense of it. I have been peeking at job listings for a while but never made the ambitious leap into applying myself into firmly looking. And now I get that chance. I have not a lot of time to find a new job, in order to afford life. Because frankly, this comic isn’t making me a dang cent.

So wish me luck.

Shirts?

June 4th, 2008

Holy crap, a second comic in a ROW… I think it’s just I’m getting to a point where I might HAVE to update more often. I ended up with 330 hits yesterday. YIKES! Thats way way way more than I expected. o_O Thanks you guys!

I’m thinking about making a t-shirt for Sudden Valley, but here is the idea I have. I show you a design for it and get pre-orders on it… after you pre-order it, I get the set number of shirts printed (It has to be at least 18 shirt orders) and then I lovingly mail the shirts to you.

I still need to get the design finalized but I at least know this: the shirts would be printed on a unisex shirt (probably Anvil) so girls would have to order based off of what they would wear for a guys size. for me. I’m an XL in American Apparel (girl size), so I wear a M in an men’s size (for the Anvil brand).

How many of you would be interested?

Art Fight, that already happened…

June 2nd, 2008

I went to the Ottobar Sunday night and saw MC Chris and Karmella’s Game live. (Age of Rocket’s played as well.. But I didn’t watch them. That’s when I was upstairs watching the ART FIGHT!!!)

So there was a RAAAAD Art Fight… And by the end of it, my friend Nick pulled me up to draw on the canvases as well… I ended up drawing a Bionic Hitler and Tom Selleck and me somewhere on the first canvas and some other things. People in the art fight at first were Angry Zen Master and Ghostfreehood (The guy who does the art for the comic Dead of Summer.)

Anyway, they were supposed to do a live streaming video of it online but there were computer problems so they filmed it… People also took photo’s.. So whenever I get my hands on whatever, I’ll plug to it.

Hopefully in the next Art Fight, I might be able to participate as a fighter and not a *suddenly Nick is waving a giant sharpie marker in my face and making me get up to draw at the end of it* That’s right, no words were said. He just shoved a marker in my face. Nice… or whatever. I dunno. I’ll have to put my hands into the cookie jar for that, I guess… If I want to participate.
